Jessi's daughter helps with the milking at night
Grade A Raw Goat's Milk

After milking Mandy takes a well deserved nap.

The girls come into the parlor in groups of five. Here they are cleaned, milked and offered treats of apples, oranges, peanuts, almond hulls, bananas or crackers.

The small amount of grain is a 14% protein ration that is fed to boost their immune systems.

Antibiotics are only used in the event a life is in jeopardy.

Affirm is asking Jessi for a treat
They are happy to come in
because it is a relief to be
milked. Of course they love
the extra pets and treats
along with the grain ration
they receive while
being milked.

After milking they are post-
dipped. This process is best
explained as sanitizing the
teats to help prevent bacteria
from entering the goats teats
between milkings.

The Lucky Hook Dairy Goats
are healthy animals that have access to pesticide and herbicide free pastures of clover and mixed grasses during the spring, summer and fall months. Click HERE to see them and the farm!

They are also offered an alfalfa and grass mixed hay from pesticide and herbicide free fields on a free choice basis, throughout the year. Our animals are free of antibiotics, steroids, hormones and anything else that is un-natural.

Our Goats Are Treated With Kindness and Respect.

Each animal has a unique personality and name.
With few exceptions they live out their entire lives here on this farm.
